Meet Our Bucks

Welcome to the Heart of the what we do.  Here reside our breeding age Bucks at the Bowery.  They are currently being entered into fairs and competitions as well as breeding our future generation of competitors.

Meet our very first rabbit Tucker.  Born on October 29, 2017; he is a (proven) pedigreed Broken Red New Zealand who's father placed 1/9 at the 2014 ARBA Convention.  He is a little nervous when you first reach in the cage but he loves his fresh veggies and comes to say hello pretty quickly.  He has never offered to bite and while he loves to explore the office when I am working he doesn't like to go back to the hutch and will run us a merry chase when that time comes.

Meet our dark and handsome Black New Zealand Grand Champion Buck Swift.  I made a day trip and drove clear down to Tyler, Texas to pick this sweet guy up from Bonita Hunt at Baileywick Rabbitry with a trio of does who are joining our breeding program.  Born on March 22, 2018; he is a young buck with a fantastic personality and already showing good promise with body type and build.  He finished out the 2018 show year with 3 legs and is going to be registered at the first show in 2019.  Then we will be able to turn in his legs for his Grand Championship.  We are thrilled with his results and look forward to his future as a stud and show team leader in the coming year.
