Our Holland Lops Are Growing

Finally since today seems to be the day for announcements we are pleased to share that we finally have three litters of Holland Lops that are growing well.

As some know it has been a rough winter and spring for us as we lost several of our rabbits and have been struggling with getting good size litters from our Holland Lops especially.

WH's Kana and LMB's Scott have given us a litter of 3 black torts who are full of energy and doing well. Quietcreek's Peanut Butter and LMB's Scott have given us a litter of 4 black torts that are thriving and will be weaning age in just a couple of weeks. Our very own homegrown doe TB's Enekya and KB Greens' Blue Cheese have give us a litter of 3 with some color: 1 is black, 1 is broken black and 1 is broken black tort.

Treysen is beyond thrilled with his new babies and is hopeful that one of these boys will be ready to step into his father's shoes in a few months as this is LMB's Scott's last litters. We are also looking forward to seeing if any of them will be a part of our fall show team when life gets to be a little more normal and we have a rabbit show to attend.

We Are Raising Mini Satins

I am ready to announce that we have decided to raise Mini Satins. My youngest daughter has expressed an interest in coming to the shows and having her own rabbits. So with the help of a couple of different breeders we have managed to add a couple of does and a couple of bucks to the rabbitry and they now have their first litters on the ground as well. My 6 year old is excited and has fun peeking in on them and helping me with nestbox checks everyday.

Our first litter is out of a blue silver marten doe named Blue Skies and our black otter 5C's Shadow. And our second litter is from our black otter doe 5C's Star and our black silver marten buck TS Gull. The babies are doing great and we are excited to see the different colors coming in as they are getting their fur. Both litters were born on the 10th and should start opening their eyes any day now.

Our New Mini Lops Have Their First Kits

We are excited to announce that Clarissa's new mini lops have delivered their first litters. They were born on the 15th and 18th. Out of our chestnut does TAF's Rainbow and TAF's Wish and the sire is our chestnut buck LV100 who we have named Fuzzy Wuzzy.

The pictures are a little fuzzy as the new additions would not sit still for photos. We are looking forward to watching them grow. Any guesses on what color everyone is going to be?
