We had an amazing time this last weekend attending the ASRCBA's State Convention show in Kingman, AZ on February 15-17th. My daughter and I had a wonderful drive down where we got time to visit with family before and after the show and we all made it home in one piece with a whole bunch of rabbits very ready to be in their hutches when we pulled in late Wednesday night.
Our new zealands had some wonderful feedback from the judges and it was great to meet some new rabbit enthusiasts. Both Shadow and Thunderstorm our up and coming junior bucks had some very positive feedback from the judges. We are very pleased with how they showed and handled the trip.
Our newest additions to the herd our pair of white new zealands stole the show however and they took Best of Breed and Best Opposite in all four of the shows that weekend. Our buck took 3 Best of Breeds and 1 Best Opposite and our doe took 1 Best of Breed and 3 Best Opposites. I admit that I was quite surprised, but I am also very pleased with the results.
