It is with sorrow that we announce this morning that Carrots and Scarlett's first kit had to be humanely put down yesterday. He injured himself with a broken back and since I was not willing to let him suffer, we put him down.
As disappointing as this is. I recognize that it is something that can and does happen while raising and taking care of rabbits. We can only hope that future litters with have better luck growing up than this little chap did.
